Every FieldCompare review follows the same process, so a score means the same thing across every tool.
We use the software
We create a real account, set up a sample business, and run everyday field-service tasks through it: booking a job, dispatching a tech, sending an estimate, invoicing, and taking payment.
What we score
Each tool is rated on what matters to a working crew: ease of setup, scheduling and dispatch, mobile app quality, invoicing and payments, customer management, support, and total cost.
Independence
Scores come from testing, not from vendors. Affiliate commissions never change a ranking, and we'll recommend a free or cheaper tool when it's the better choice. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Keeping reviews current
We revisit reviews as products change and show a last-updated date on each one.
